Purchase statistics: ABC analysis
Introduction
You
can obtain the statistics of the ABC analysis in the forms of reports and graphs
in Microsoft Excel at Purchase/Statistics/Statistics/ABC analysis. The ABC
analysis is based on the 80/20 rule whereby 80% of the purchases is
generated by only 20% of the items or supplier. The overview shows which
items or suppliers generated the highest purchasing demand, depending
on the selection in the filter criteria; which provides means of tracking items or suppliers based on demand,
thus enabling you to prioritize the items’ purchases.
